Red Ludwigia – Ludwigia peruensis
What We Like About This Plant:
- Extraordinary red coloration and very prolific growth in ideal conditions
- Easy to prune
- Does not produce side stems like many other ludwigia species
- Excellent middle or background plant
- Feed with lots of iron and potassium to keep red coloration

- Temperature: 68° – 82° F (20° – 28° C)
- pH: 5.5 – 8.0
- Lighting: High – Higher lighting will help maintain red coloration
- Origin: Indigenous to North America
- Aquarium placement: Middle to Background
- Care: Moderate
- Max Size: 25-35cm high
This stem plant is grown emersed (out of the water) so its inital apperance may differ to its long term look. The transition will take place once submerged under water and may take 2 – 21 days
